Why do reflexive verbs have the reflexive pronoun se attached to the infinitive?

With reflexive verbs, we change the se (known as a reflexive pronoun) to show who is doing the action to himself. Don’t forget to still conjugate the -ar, -er, or -ir ending of the verb!
