Given :

  • The measurement of the two angles of a triangle are 50° and 58°.

To Find :

  • The measurement of the third angle of the triangle.

Answer :

  • 72° .

Explanation :

We know that,

  • Sum of all angles of a triangle = 180°

Therefore,

{ \longrightarrow \sf \qquad \angle1 + \angle2 + \angle3= 180 {}^( \circ) }

{ \longrightarrow \sf \qquad 50 {}^( \circ) + 58{}^( \circ)+\angle3= 180 {}^( \circ) }

{ \longrightarrow \sf \qquad 108{}^( \circ)+\angle3= 180 {}^( \circ) }

Subracting 108° from both sides :

{ \longrightarrow \sf \qquad 108{}^( \circ) - 108 {}^( \circ) +\angle3= 180 {}^( \circ) - 108 {}^( \circ) }

{ \longrightarrow \pmb{\bf \qquad \angle3= 72 {}^( \circ) }}

Therefore,

  • The measurement of the third angle of the triangle is 72° .
