Answer:

As you can see from the chart, apparently the lighter the color of the beetle, the less likely it is to survive. Mutant 1 only lasted for what I'm assuming one generation, while the non-mutated beetle and mutant 2 lasted longer. However mutant 2 was able to bring about more offspring than its non-mutated counterpart, suggesting that they have a better survival rate.

One reason I can think of for this, is the fact that their darker color, might serve as a warning to predators, that they could be potentially poisonous and not to mess with them.
