Jon and Jim painted a fence. Jon painted 1/3 of the fence and Jim painted 7/12 of the fence. How much of the fence is left to paint?

B. 7/15
C. 11/12

1/3 is equal to 4/12 . To think about it more, just divide the denominators

4/12 + 7/12 = 11/12
