Let’s make a system of equation
b = biscuit, c = carton of milk
2b + c = 5.00
3b + c = 6.50
Now use elimination subtract
-1b = -1.5
b = $1.50
2(1.50) + c = 5
3 + c = 5, c= $2.00
Solution: $0.50 more
