13.5 is the answer/perimeter.

I wasn't sure what to estimate to...

for perimeter use:
a^(2) +b^(2) =c^(2)

I noticed that the trapezoid was made up of 3 identical triangles, so find the area of one of them times 3

one triangle area:
(1)/(2) (b · h) b = base, h = height

plug- in values, so
(1)/(2) (3 · 3) is half of 9 which is 4.5.

3 · 4.5 is 13.5
