The answer is C.
Innovation, acculturation, and diffusion are all used to describe the process of cultures changing in response to new technology or other cultures.
A and B are incorrect because they describe elements of a culture but not the way that it changes.
D is incorrect because the definition of “better”/“worse” varies from person to person. It is very vague.
