Answer is : square root of 70.
Step-by-step explanation:
Think about which square roots make 8 and 9
The square root of 64 makes 8
The square root of 81 makes 9
The square root of 70 is closer to the square root of 64 than the square root of 81
So the square root of 70 must be much closer to 8 than 9
And if you put the square root of 70 in your calculator you would see that
it is true. It is approximately 8.3 which is closer to 8 than to 9
