Answer:

Explanation:

(x₁, y₁)= (-6,1) and (x₂,y₂) = (0,4)

Slope =
(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

= (4-1)/(0-[-6])\\\\=(3)/(0+6)\\\\=(3)/(6)\\\\=(1)/(2)

Slope of line perpendicular to it = -1/m

= (-1)/((1)/(2))\\\\=-1*(2)/(1)=-2

Equation : y =mx +b

y = -2x + b

Plugin x = -2 and y =7 in the above equation

7 = -2*(-2) + b

7 = 4 + b

7-4=b

3 = b

Equation: y =-2x + 3
