If Adriana guys 12 pounds of chocolate covered raisins for $12.40, how much did she pay per pound? Show work

"Per pound" means you need to figure out how many dollars per pound the chocolate cost.

"dollars per pounds" means
\frac{\text{cost, in dollars}}{\text{weight, in pounds}}.

Divide the cost by the weight and you'll have your answer.
