Answer:

Slope intercept form of a linear equation: y = mx + b

(where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept)

\mathsf{slope=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)}

(where
\mathsf{(x_1,y_1)} and
\mathsf{(x_2,y_2)} are points on the line)

Given:

  • \mathsf{(x_1,y_1)=(2,11)}

  • \mathsf{(x_2,y_2)=(6,21)}

\mathsf{slope=(21-11)/(6-2)=2.5}

y=mx+b

11=2.5* 2+b

b=6

y=2.5x+6
