a world without photography; what would this mean for newspapers, magazines, books, film, and television?

Newspapers wouldn’t have pictures to describe the paragraph{s}, we would have to start using drawings. The pictures you see on magazine covers, gone, either a drawing or nothing at all. And no photos inside the magazine either. Film + television, they would have to resort for drawings in advertisements on animations which would make it a lot harder.
