-3x + 18 = 7x

I’m not sure how to do this someone said it was 10 but I tried and it’s wrong . Can someone please help me?

→ -3x + 18 = 7x

→ -3x - 7x = -18

→ -10x = -18

→ 10x = 18 ( the sign got removed after dividing them by the same numbers)

→ x = 18/10 = 9/5

so,

value of x = 9/5
