No, since majority of the work we do in school is not applicable for the careers we want to pursue or the degree we are going to study. Example, a person who might want to pursue psychology or medicine, none of the subjects in high school touch up on the bases of those degrees or careers.
This answer is subjective, depending on what is in your curriculum and what subjects you are taking in school.
