Answer: the full gallon

Explanation:

Half gallon = $2.20

full gallon = $3.68

since a half gallon is $2.20, when you buy 2 (to make a full gallon), it costs $4.40

since just buying a full gallon only costs $3.68, it is a better buy*

* if you don’t want a full gallon, however, you would just buy a half gallon. But, I don’t believe that this question is about whether you want a half or full gallon. It’s math.
