What were Aristotle's major contributions/discoveries in astronomy? If you can add something that includes why that contribution was important that would be great.

Answer:

He was responsible for making a physical geocentric model (everything revolves around the earth)

Step-by-step explanation:

This is important because once it was proven wrong, it was evident that in this case religion was wrong and science was right. The theory itself was believed to be true because Christianity had taught them that God had placed the Earth in the center of the universe. However, as stated before, once this was disproved, it allowed us to see that not everything that was taught religiously was correct.

hope that helped :)
