Explanation:

Since AB = AC , then Δ ABC is isosceles

So the base angles are congruent , both 2x + 15

The sum of the 3 angles = 180° , then

2x + 15 + 2x + 15 + 98 = 180

4x + 128 = 180 ( subtract 128 from both sides )

4x = 52 ( divide both sides by 4 )

x = 13
