y=mx+b [THIS WILL NOT ALWAYS BE POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!]

(mx is slope, b is y-intercept)

Lets take what you already know first and identify them.

You know the slope is 6/5, and that its positive

You know the y- intercept is -4

Explanation:

To graph this equation, start at the point(0, -4) and place a point. Since the slope is 6/5, you will go up the y- axis 6, and then you will go to the RIGHT(since the slope is POSITIVE) 5. I have attached what your graph should look like. I hope this helps you!!! :))

In the future, remember that if the slope is positive you will go to the right and if the slope is negative you will go to the left, and your first point will be the "b" of your equation
