-7/10 -6/1. In these sorts of problems, you can't do anything until both numbers have a common denominator or the same number on bottom. -6 has a 1 under it, while -7/10 has a 10 under it. Because of this, multiply -6/1 by 10/10. This becomes -60/10. Now subtract -7/10 - -60/10. 2 negatives make a positive, so the negative 60/10 is now positive. 60/10-7/10= 53/10.
