To answer your question of "I mainly need help with knowing what to do with y=-1​" you will graph it as you do with y = -
(5)/(2)x + 4.

Any y = something equation will be a horizontal line. There is no slope, the "mx" chunk, so the line stays straight. You will put a dot at (0, -1) and draw a line straight from that point.

For y = -
(5)/(2)x + 4, place a dot at (0, 4) and then count down 5 units and 2 units to the right to place another dot. Then draw a line through these two dots and extend it beyond to create the line.
