I would like for someone that is in immigrant, to tell their story. And here is some questions you can answer. How are gender roles different in the new country? What are the expectations of members of the second generation, and how do their lives differ from those of their immigrant parents? Most be at least 300 words in this story.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Here is a story on an immigrant from Iraqi to the US. As a Muslim country, the gender roles are very different from those in the US. Many Islamic laws are biased against women and place restrictions on women can or cannot do in a society. US laws protect gender equality and make sure women have the same rights as men. Expectations of the second generation in general are high as their parents expect them to excel. Their lives differ from their parents as they are born in the US and grow up in a different environment. They have better language skills and understand US history, popular culture and everything else better than their parents.

This is a little short but hope you can add more yourself. Please write in comment if you need help.

Mxico is the top origin country of the U.S. immigrant population. In 2018, roughly 11.2 million immigrants living in the U.S. were from there, accounting for 25% of all U.S. immigrants. The next largest origin groups were those from China (6%), India (6%), the Philippines (4%) and El Salvador (3%).20-Aug-2020.
