I have a nutrient calculation question , I am very confused

Please help me

How can I find out what percentage of my diet was from protein?

Do I have to use the average protein to answer that question or do I use a protein for one day value ?

protein and carbohydrates each provide 4 calories per gram while fat provides 9 calories per gram. For example, if you've consumed 60 g of protein in a day, you've consume 240 calories from protein.
