Would using the commutative property of addition be a good strategy

for simplifying 35 +82 +65? Explain why or why not.

Explanation:

Without using the property, you would have to do 35+82+65 which is messy. 35+82=117+65=182 ugh

Using the property however, tells you that you can do 35+65+82 which is easier to solve! 35+65=100+82=182
