What is the conclusion that we can make from this graph?

Do we have enough information to predict what the next years snowfall in Bristol will be?

Which type of graph would be the best way to visually represent the information in this table? Line graph, bar graph, or circle graph?

Thank you so much!

  1. The graph is missing so I cannot answer the first question.
  2. No unfortunately we don't have enough info to predict what will happen in Bristol next year (unless the graph clears things up). The table shows 46.8 inches of snow fall on average per year, for the city of Bristol. Though next year the value may increase or decrease depending on a number of factors.
  3. The best way to represent the information in the table is to use a bar graph. This visually compares to see which city gets the least snow vs which city gets the most snow. The more snowfall, the higher the bar. I guess technically you could use a circle graph (aka pie chart) but it's not as useful to compare between the four cities without the percentages. Imagine you'd want a person to quickly glance at the graph and get a sense of things without having to read any numbers from it. We cannot use a line graph because the four cities are separate from one another. We can only use a line graph in situations involving time.
