In triangle QRS, ∠Q and ∠S have the same measure. If m∠R = 58°, find the measure of ∠Q and ∠S

Explanation:

In ΔQRS,

Let ∠Q = ∠S = x

Therefore, we know

Sum of all angles in a triangle = 180°

So,

∠QRS + ∠QSR + ∠RQS = 180°

58° + x + x = 180°

58° + 2x = 180°

2x = 180 - 58°

x = 122°/2

x = 61°

Therefore,

∠Q = ∠ S = 61°
