What’s 34 + 2x = 49??? I NEED HELP

34 + 2x = 49
minus 34 from both sides
2x = 15
divide both sides by 2
x = 7.5

(to confirm 2x = 15, 34 + 15 = 49)

34 + 2x = 49

-34 -34

2x = 49 - 34
