Explanation:

If the circumference is 19pi, then the diameter is 19.

C = pi•d

19pi = pi•d

19 = d

If the diameter is 19, then the radius is 9.5.

The radius is always half of the diameter.

Then we can find the area.

A = pi•r^2

=pi•9.5^2

=90.25pi

We don't often see a decimal number coefficient for pi. So as an improper fraction, 90.25 which is 90 1/4 is

(90×4)+1 over 4

= 361/4

Area = (361/4)pi
