A. 3(x+2)=18

B. 3x+6=18

1) how can we get equation b from equation a?


This is due today and I really don’t get it.

Answer:

you just multiply 3*(x+2) from the equation and that will give you 3x+6 and then you just bring down the =18 and then you have 3x+6=18
