These are actually nitrogenous bases. According to Watson and crack model the two strands of DNA twisted around each other having double hydrogen bonds between Adenine and Thymine (A=T)and triple hydrogen bond between Guanine and Cytocine.
DNA have thymine while RNA have uracil nitrogenous base.
