A bus travels at a speed of 90 km/hr, find the distance it will cover in 10 minutes.

Answer:


distance = speed * time

speed » 90 km/hr

time » 10 mins.

But:


60 \: mins = 1 \: hour \\ 10 \: mins = ( (10 * 1)/(60) )hours \\ \\ { \underline { \: time = (1)/(6) \: hours }}

therefore:


distance = 90 * (1)/(6) \\ \\ { \underline{ \underline{ \bf{ \: \: distance = 15 \: km \: \: }}}}
