Explanation:

The given angles are complementary

Hence sum of these are equal to 90°

X + ( 3X - 2) = 90

X + 3X - 2 = 90

4X - 2 = 90

4X = 90 + 2

4X = 92

X = 92/4

X = 23

First angle (X) = 23

Second angle ( 3X - 2 )= 3(23) - 2

= 67
