What is the value of 2 thirds + 3 fourths

Explanation:

⅔ + ¾

→ make the denominator equal of both the fraction

= 2/3 × 4/4 = 8/12

= 3/4 × 3/3 = 9/12

hence,

8/12 + 9/12

= 8 + 9/12 = 17/12


(17)/(12) or \: 1 (5)/(12)
