Here, 3 is added to x, and -4 is added to y starting from the equation ...

y = √x

to get to the equation

y = √(x +3) -4

This means your graph is the graph of the square root function shifted left 3 units and down 4 units. This is shown in the attachment.

Considering the above, a graph of f(x) = √(x+4) -4 would be the same curve, but shifted one more unit to the left.
