Answer:

CT = 13x-1

but if you need the answer

CT = 38

Explanation:

if CJ is equivalent to JT, and

CJ = 8x-5

and

JT = 5x+4

so, 8x-5=5x+4

if you simplify it, 8x = 5x+9

use simple algebra to find that x = 3

and because CT is 13x-1, 13(3)-1 = 38

CT = 38

8x-5= 5x+4
x=3
so you replace X with 3
each equation equals 19
multiply 19 by 2 =38
