Given :-

  • Frequency = 500 Hz
  • Speed =
    \bf {200 \: m ^(-1)}

To Find :-

  • Wavelength = ?

Solution :-

As per the provided information in the given question, we have been given that the Frequency of the Wave is 500 Hz . Its Speed is given
\bf {200 \: m ^(-1)} . And, we have been asked to calculate the Wavelength .

For calculating the Wavelength , we will use the Formula :-

  • Wavelength = Speed / Frequency

Therefore , by Substituting the given values in the above Formula :-

⇒ Wavelength = 200 / 500

⇒ Wavelength = 2 / 5

⇒ Wavelength = 0.4

Hence :-

  • Wavelength = 0.4 m
