Apply your knowledge of atomic theory to determine The number of protons contained in a neutral Adam of palladium that has 46 electrons

In a neutral atom the total positive charge cancels out the total negative charge

For this to happen the number of protons(+) and electrons(-) must be the same.

So a neutral atom of Palladium will also have 46 protons (same as the electron no.)
