red and blue ceramic tiles are laid according to a pattern such that every 22 red tiles used, 3 blue tiles are used. if a total of 400 tiles are used, how many of them are blue? setup a proportion for this scenario( use x for your unknown number of blue tiles).

Answer:

(3)/(22)= (x)/(352)

Explanation:

I add 22 and 3 together to get the total number of tiles. Which is 25.

Then I divided 400 by 25 to get the scale factor. Which is 16.

I multiplied 22 by 16 to get 352. Then I just placed it into an equation.

the answer for X would be 48.
