Alana is working on creating a scale

drawing of her mom's bakery store. She
has set her scale 1/2 in = 6 ft. If the
bakery store is 33 ft long, then how many
inches should it be on the scale drawing?

Explanation:

every 6 ft is equivelent to a half of an inch. So if you take 33 ft and divide it by 6 to find how many 6 ft are in the bakery's length you will get 5.5 so you know there are 5 and a half, halves in the bakery's length. so you have 5 halves, which is 2 and a half, plus you have a half of a half, so 1/4. adding this all together you have 2 and 3/4 for your total scaled drawing.
