List any 2 differences between area & volume.
Area
Area is used to refer to the space which is accommodated / occupied by a flat 2D object / figure like a square, rectangle or a circle.
Area is measured in square units.
Volume
Volume is used to refer to the the amount of space which is accommodated / occupied by a 3D object / figure like a cube, cuboid or a sphere.
Volume is measured in cube units.
Note
2D & 3D stands for two-dimensional & three-dimensional respectively.
