Explanation:

Firstly let us write the square of 0 to 10,

  • 0²=0
  • 1²=1
  • 2²=4
  • 3²=9
  • 4²=16
  • 5²=25
  • 6²=36
  • 7²=49
  • 8²=64
  • 9²=81
  • 10²=100

Hence,

49, 64, 81 and 100 are perfect squares from 40 to 100.

\\ \tt\longmapsto 49=(7)^2

\\ \tt\longmapsto 64=(8)^2

\\ \tt\longmapsto 81=(9)^2

  • 100 won't be counted
