Schizophrenia is characterized by thoughts or experiences that seem out of touch with reality, disorganized speech or behavior, and decreased participation in daily activities, cause unknown. Meanwhile with DID a person experienced major trauma before the age of six, when a humans personality fully develops. This causes “alters” who control the body at different times and have different roles.
