An angle measures 96° more than the measure of its supplementary angle. What is the measure of each angle

x+x+96=180

2x=180-96

2x = 84

divide both sides by 2

x=42degrees

Then the other angle = 180-42

=>138°

Proof: If I add 96 to the first angle, I will get the second angle.

=> 42+96= 138°
