  • 6s+75 = 105
  • 6(s+12.5) = 105

We see that 6(s+12.5) and 6s+75 represent the same expression. That expression being the total cost of buying a snack and a ticket for 6 people. The mother is not included in any of this. If we wanted her to be, then we'd have to say 7(s+12.5) = 7s+7*12.5 = 7s+87.5

Anyways, so going back to 6(s+12.5) and 6s+75, these two expressions are set equal to 105 as this is the total cost for those 6 pairs of items (ticket + snack).
