Word that means that an organism does not move.
Sessile / sessility
is the word which is used to describe the organisms lack of self locomotion (lack of movement by itself).
Sessile organisms are organisms that are immobile & they are fixed to a particular surface / substrate.
A sea vase & an acorn barnacle are examples for sessile organisms.
