a + 2 < - 10

you can make the umm < into = for now ( or just ignore it)

a + 2 = -10

a = -12

now ummm i think we have to think whether we use < or >

if we use < then it will be less then -10

if we use > some points may be greater than -10

its < because even if you left < as it should be (not ignoring it) then it would still be facing <
