Two caseworkers share an office. The first caseworker has fifteen active cases. The second caseworker has twice the number of active cases. How many cases does the office have. solve and write an equation.

Simple the answer is 45

1 caseworker has 15 cases and th ther has twice as many so thats multiplication, which is 15x2=30. then they asked how many cases does the office have so thats both the workers combined which is 15+30=45

so 15x2=30

15+30=45
