Step-by-step explanation:
Initial velocity(v)=30 m/s
Final velocity(u)=0 m/s
Acceleration due to gravity(g)=9.8m/s²
Height(h)=?
Now,
By the third equation of motion, we have
v²=u²+2gh
30²=0²+2×9.8×h
900=0+19.6h
900=19.6h
900/19.6=h
h=45.918 m
