the formula for calculating the equation of the line passing through two points is (look at the photo)

3 is x1, -2 is y1, -1 is x2 and 6 is y2

solve: x-3/-1-3 = y-(-2)/6-(-2)

x-3/-4 = y+2/8

transport the second fraction to the left of the equal, then it becomes negative:

x-3/-4 - y+2/8 = 0

do the mcm: -2(x-3)-(y+2) = 0

solve (minus in front of a parenthesis changes all signs inside it): -2x+6-y-2 = 0

-2x+4-y = 0

move the unknowns to the left of the equal:

-2x -y = -4
