By straight line formula ( general representation of straight line ) :- y = mx + c where

y and x are ordinate and absissa . ( order pair )

m is slope of straight line

c is y intercept

FOR X INTERCEPT :- PUT y = 0 in given equation i.e, y = 3x + 6

0 = 3x + 6

x = -6/3 = -2
