The length of a rectangular garden is 5 m longer than it's breadth. If it's perimeter is 150 m, find the area of the garden.​

L = B + 5

2L + 2B = 150

Substituting gives 2B + 2(B+5) = 150

4B = 140

B=35; L = 40

Area = B x L = 35 x 40 = 1400 m2
